Spring and Summer 2012

April
The month started with a trip to see a wonderful friend from Bangladesh who was visiting Chicago above and then Bob and Liz came in town. It was SO fun to be able to celebrate 2 birthdays and eat great food together!

Adam had his last orchestra concert of the season looking as handsome as ever!
May
This is the month for graduations and the student Adam had been mentoring since he first came to KS graduated - we were so proud and glad that we were able to find a spot in the auditorium to watch him graduate!

Also a month for weddings in the park. The picture above was taken after one and then moving people to new apartments. We are with our community group at Church below after a move in town.

May is also the month for the Symphony to play in the park in front of Union Station. They never disappoint with the display of fireworks and wonderful music!
Adam and I worked the VBS at our church doing water rockets. Adam loved getting to design the rockets and teaching the students how to put them together. The golf tournament was also in May but somehow I didn't get any photos this year. We did not play this year but instead worked one of the holes which we thought was so fun!
June
The last Symphony concert was in this month. We love the photos that we are able to take at the new Kauffman center,

Then we enjoyed Shakespeare in the park with our Church group. The group performed A Midsummer Night's Dream which is one of my favorite:-)

And of course our Anniversary celebration. We went to Cafe Sebastienne in the Kemper Art museum (http://www.kemperart.org/cafe/dinner.asp). Food was delicious and the charm of the museum is that is is small enough to view in one night. Celebration!

JULY
And then of course lake time! Such great friend and memories at the lake. This summer was a hot one so cooling swimming was a much needed break!

And lastly fireworks for the fourth of July!
