April/May

We spent the rest of April in Atl and then had Jorge and his sister come stay with us the end of the month to beginning of May to celebrate his Masters graduation. We were so happy to have them!

Great job Jorge the graduate!!
We were able to celebrate out that night with Jorge and Family - Such a lovely family. It really brought to light how much we need to study Spanish before going to visit Jorge!!!

We are going to miss him so much!
The whole crew at the coffee shop. Jorge did not want to wear his gown but he wore it so we could take a few photos!
Later that week we had a nice dinner out - Lots of love for this family and hope to visit them next year in Spain!

Adam's Folks came in for the week and we were able to celebrate Mothers day and just enjoy some                                                                     time out in Decatur!

Denver Wedding

In April we made a quick trip to Denver to see Alan and Melissa get married. It was a beautiful wedding and such a wonderful celebration to attend!

The Reno clan!
We had gorgeous weather and beautiful snow still on the mountains.

I was terrible at taking photos but here is one of us and Susie's sweet baby "P". We had such a good time being all together!

Spring In ATL

Here are just some random pictures from Spring in Atl. You always know its getting warmer when mojitos are on the menu....
....bananas are ripe and silly......
....flowers are in full bloom.....
...date night is a regular.....
.....and naps after running are normal!
We came up with a name for our kitty....she is now called Pheobe!!
Saturdays were filled with baseball...
...and walks home with dogwoods in full bloom.

Can you see the bird feeder she is guarding?

Pheobe got more used to her surroundings each day. She was hesitant to play when she first arrived but after a few short months playing was her favorite - in and out of the red box fetching the butterfly or the mouse and then watching the birds at the bird feeder. She was a rescue cat from a home that had 26 cats (aka too many) so we think she has enjoyed being on her own!

Kitty

Those of you who know Adam know his love of cats! We have been visiting a local agency that has kittens at the nearby PetSmart almost every weekend and thats when we decided it might time to get a kitty. This was no small decision for me but every rule that we have set we have not kept and we are just in love:-) She is about 3 years old and very well behaved which we are thankful for!
She is one of the most social cats that we have ever been around. She greets us at the door everyday when we get home and in the morning when we wake up! It took weeks to think of a name so for the first bit of time she lived with us we just called her Kitty!

Travel and time Off

Valentines Dinner out and then at a Musical.....
Took a little time off during Adam's Spring Break - Went to Once the Musical and then to Philly to see his parents. The mall had a Tesla inside so of course we could not resist sitting inside and dreaming:-)

Impromptu dinner out at Seasons 52

We spent a day wondering around Winterthur and enjoying the almost Spring weather they were having...still chilly but flowers were blooming!

They had a Downton Abbey exhibit and since Adam and I are both fans it worked out well so spend an afternoon at the museum:-)

The rest of the house was pretty amazing in its own right!
Another very fun part of the trip was getting to see my friend Sarah Beth who lives in the area. She was so easy to talk to and it was hard to believe we had not seen each other since nursing school!

Adam and the corvette

Shortly after this trip Lynn, Jeremy and the girls came to stay for the weekend. They flew to Atlanta and then drove to Florida to be with Jeremy;s family for the week. At the end of the week they then drove back to Atl and stayed for another couple of days. Can you see big C's smile as she gets to draw on the magnetic dry erase?
We made it through the first weekend without incident but the second ended with a trip to the ER with O. You can see the gash above her eye - just tripped while playing. You can tell though she is not much worse for the wear and she got ice cream afterwards which was a highlight!

You can decide which picture you like the best. As you can see below they LOVE their Uncle Adam and did not want him to leave for school!

We love Uncle Adam!

Lynn Jeremy and Baby #4....Its a girl! As you can see below A is growing up so much and just glad that the girls still like to pick out my jewelry. Love that family!
