Birthdays and Funerals

Near the end of the summer Gdad died. It was a sad time, Gma is doing alright but her health is not the best either. Adam bought a ticket for me as he had been about 3 weeks earlier to visit Gdad while Adam was doing a research intro at the NASA Ames center.
While in town for the funeral we spent some time at the house. Even though it was a sad time we had smiles, celebrated Gdad's life, and also celebrated Dad's Birthday.

At the memorial service watching a video of Gdad's photo memories.

Adam was at home finding what he could to eat. This man loves boneless wings.

When we got back we went to see the Botanial Gardens animals at night -  very cool!

In September Adam and I took a trip to Nashville. We were going for a surprise party for my best friend from college. Beforehand I took Adam for a tour around downtown, the Parthanon, breakfast at pancake pantry and anything else I could find to show him!

Wildhorse Salon:-)
We took a tour of the Ryman and of course needed a photo with the Wilco picture - Adams favorite!

It was then off to the Birthday Party. They had been at the lake but we had a bit of a cold so slept in and did not make it, so I was the surprise at the Birthday party....Bozer is the best friend all of us could ever have. The theme was 30 and we all brought 30 things that Becky would like for her birthday. Her favorite may have been these 30 Sonic cups - she loves Sonic cups!!

Erica making us all laugh!!
The crew at Mexican dinner - the best for all those G-Free girls.
Then we went to hear some bluegrass downtown - what a fun city and fun girls!

Later in the month we celebrated Adam's birthday next. Happy Birthday to my love!

Beginning Of Summer

These are a little out of order but the beginning of our summer started out sunny and bright - Summer is my favorite time of year. We had a beautiful day to get out to a baseball game with our friend Barb - Such a lovely day at the Ballpark and fantastic seats!
Really fantastic seats!

The botanical garden had a new exhibit with animals galore - my favorite!

Adam with flowers and me with a frog - love those frogs!

We celebrated a night out with yummy organic food and then my best friend from high school came in with her family. It was so wonderful to have them in town and since her brother-in-law lives here too we got to see everyone!

We spent time at the park and played at home. I LOVED having B&B&J here!!!

B and his honorary Auntie Ruth!
Smiling B:-)
Alan and his very sweet soon to be fiance came for a visit. She is a Nashville girl so of course we love her and she is the sweetest. They are engaged now so I'm not breaking any secrets!
