Springtime Outings

Springtime brought the Final Four to Atlanta. Not wanting to spend any kind of money on tickets we walked to the free celebration outside of the stadium. We realized we are too old to enjoy rock music close to the stage so moved back a bit to enjoy the music from a far.
We rode our bikes to the first GA tech baseball game. It was a chilly night for Springtime in ATL!
Adam's Dad's company is headquartered in Atlanta so we have the fortunate opportunity of getting to meet up several times a year just for dinner. Not many people get to do that when their parents live hundreds of miles away!

Went to the end of the year party for Adam's research lab. He will be there several more years so it was a good chance for me to get to meet the I have heard so much about. Adam got to impress them with his ultimate frisbee skill, really he is very good!

Both of Adam's parents traveled down to us and then we drove to see one of Adam's high school friends get married in Daphne Alabama. It was very chilly for May but we had a blast dancing and also getting to hang out with Adam's best friend from high school - Mike. Below is the Hershey High crew.
The absolute highlight for me was getting to meet Mike's longterm girlfriend. We have been hearing about here for years but this was out first meeting. She was SO much fun and we loved getting to spend the weekend as 'couple friends.' LOVED IT!

We all had breakfast the next morning and then headed our separate ways. It was a windy morning and the ocean was a special shade of brown but a great weekend to get away!
Dinner out to celebrate my new job and Adam's great end to a first semester in aerospace.

Dessert out to celebrate Birthdays and the end to a good visit!

We took Jorge to his first American batting cage experience. We all had blisters by the time we had used all the coins.

This was the first Will Reno Memorial Golf tournament that I was going to miss so of course we had to golf in memory of it. It was sad to miss out but glad we could still be a part in a small way.

The next weekend my roommate from college came in town and took us to a baseball game. I am so proud of what she is doing as a lawyer in the JAG. She has worked so hard to get there for sure! LOVED seeing her!! Jorge enjoyed his first American baseball game completed with a hotdog. Adam was very happy to introduce him to hotdogs!!
