Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 started out with lots of events at church! We had a crew at Adam's last concert of 2011 and a great time at the churches dessert breakfast !

We then traveled to CA to be with the Schroeder/Smith/Wilson clan.

We took the girls in their PJs to see the Muppets...

had fun dinner times at  Lynn's...

......the cell phones were always a hit as was Uncle Adam!!

Hikes on the hill next to the grandparents....

...and fun opening presents!

Caraline loves her Uncle!

Christmas Eve at All Saints.

And Christmas morning with lots of new gifts!

What Christmas would not be complete without Twister? I think Mom beat Dad:-)

We spent the day after Christmas at the Discovery Museum - finger painting, building tents, and playing music!

Adam had bought a kit for me to make Bubble Tea with and we had fun sharing with everyone!

A group photo with almost everyone smiling and what gathering would be complete without playing Settlers?

Middle daughter wine and a smiling Caraline with her Great Granddad - It was a wonderful end to 2012~

November and December 2011

We had some beautiful Fall days here in KC in November so we decided to put up Christmas light early. It has shaped up to be a mild winter but we enjoyed having them up!
The rest of the month was full of birthday parties....

and wedding showers!

And since the lovely weather continued we could have friends over and all sit outside!

Congrats to Todd and Whit who are now happily married!

Emily Ann came to visit us before she headed to CA to see my Mom and sisters and the rest. We again had really great weather and a great time exploring KC!

Yummy food at Blanc Burgers and enjoying the Nelson
Adam with Lucy and Jack at his Star Wars/Star Trek themed concert. It was such a great mix of people who wanted to listen to great music and others who liked the movies!
Emily Ann and some of the McCrerys

We had a great group from church come and visit....here is us and the Johnsons!

Emily Ann even joined us for Saturday Morning at the Shelter. This Saturday was a dress up day!

We spent Thanksgiving at the Renos and then the evening we headed to the Plaza again to watch the lighting of the lights and the  fireworks.

We took Jack and Lucy to an inflatable indoor playground Thanksgiving weekend. I think we had just as much fun as they did!

Before heading to a wedding in December we got to see Jon and Katy's new beautiful baby!

And then see Laura get married...she was a beautiful bride!

Us and the Johnsons again:-)

Could not resist some photos by the red door!
